Regalis Truffle Tapenade combines minced fragrant Italian summer black truffles with Champignon de Paris mushrooms and extra virgin olive oil to create a pâté of sorts perfect for tossing with pasta, mixing into eggs, adding to sauces, or spreading over bruschetta. The truffles are sourced from Abruzzo, Italy. Regalis Foods was founded in 2012 by Ian Purkayastha who started selling truffles at the age of 15 on his bicycle. His enterprise grew into Regalis Foods based in New York. He sources truffles from Italy, France, Spain, and Oregon, and his passion for truffles is seen in procurement of rare truffles and authentic truffle condiments used by many Michelin-starred chefs around the world.
